I'm Cédric. I'm Belgian, I live in Toronto, and I got tired of the fact that you can buy forty kinds of protein bar here and nothing that's just dried beef with the water taken out. Jerky in Europe is either American and full of sugar or it's a salami stick at a petrol station. So I've written a spec and I'm choosing a producer now. If the first run goes well there'll be more flavours. If it doesn't, I'll have learned something expensive.

When can I actually buy it?
When production is quoted and booked. We're not naming a date we can't stand behind — the waitlist gets one email the moment it opens.
Am I paying anything now?
No. There's no card form on this page. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
What will it cost?
We don't know yet. Production isn't quoted, so putting a number here would be a guess. The waitlist gets the price before anyone is asked to buy.
Do you ship outside Belgium and the Netherlands?
Not on the first run. Join the waitlist anyway and we'll tell you when we do.
Is it halal?
Not this run. A halal SKU is planned for the second production run.
Won't it cost more than supermarket jerky?
Probably. It takes 240g of lean beef to make 100g of this, and we don't bulk it out with sugar or soy.
